Building Emergency Staff (BES) registration
BESs support the Building Supervisor for Emergency Conditions (BSEC) in his/her emergency preparedness activities before, during and after an incident. All campus buildings will have one BES per department, per floor.
What does a BES do?
Participate in emergency preparedness training, assist in exercises, provide information to faculty and staff within their building, communicate damage and victim information to the BSEC, and assist BSEC at the Emergency Assembly Area (EAA).
