Air The hotel is approximately 15 minutes from the Burbank Airport (BUR) and 30 minutes North of the Los Angeles International Airport (LAX). |

Hotel When calling the Sheraton Universal Hotel (888) 627-7186 let them know you are eligible for the "California Environment, Health, and Safety Academy 2009" rate of $179 per night. University of California employees who live within 50 miles of the hotel are also eligible for a "University of California" discount. The hotel offers free shuttle service to/from the Universal Studios Hollywood and Universal CityWalk. Directions can be obtained from their website at www.sheratonuniversal.com/directions. Deadline for making hotel reservations is September 4, 2009. |

Transportation Public transportation is available through the Metropolitan Transportation Authority (MTA). From the BUR and LAX airports you take the subway (through Union Station) to the Metro Red Line. Exit onto the Universal City station. Across the street is a free shuttle bus which will conveniently take you to Universal CityWalk Hollywood and Universal Studios Hollywood (daily every 15 minutes from 10:00 am - 4:30 pm). From there hop onto another free shuttle to the Sheraton Hotel. |

Parking We will validate parking stubs so that you pay only $10 self-parking or $14 valet for each day. |

Room The meeting will be held in the Terrace D room. Wireless internet connection is available throughout the hotel. |

Meals Breakfast and Lunch is provided during all days of the conference. Dinner is the responsibility of attendees, with the exception of a hosted Reception Dinner on Tuesday, October 6, 2009 in the Starview room (Roof Garden level). |
