Environmental Health


Environmental health focuses on the aspects of human health and disease and their relation to environmental factors. The program addresses all the physical, chemical, and biological factors that are external to people, and the related factors which impact behaviors. Environmental health encompasses the tasks of conducting restaurant inspections, swimming pool inspections, and water quality testing, providing food safety training, issuing food permits, and a myriad of other services in an effort to keep you healthy and safe.
