What should I do?

 

If you feel you have the flu:

Stay at home for at least 24 hours after you are free of fever (100°F) without the use of fever-reducing medication; Do not attend work or school.
Get medical attention (especially if you have a pre-existing health condition). Students should make an appointment with the Campus Health Center (951) 827-3031. Faculty/Staff should contact your primary health care provider.
Avoid close contact with others
Clean hands with soap and water or an alcohol-based hand rub often.
Cover coughs and sneezes
Drink plenty of non-carbonated fluids to prevent dehydration
Get plenty of rest
Clean and and sanitize frequently touched or common-use surfaces such as countertops, phone receivers, cabinet doors, computer keyboards, and door handles
