Course Description


Bloodborne Pathogens (online)

The Bloodborne Pathogens online training was developed at the University of Nebraska Lincoln, and is available to all in the University of California Riverside. Survey of proper handling of biohazardous materials and exposure to bloodborne pathogens. Topics include: Infections materials, Medical waste, Labeling, Storing, Safe handling, and Personal protective equipment (PPE).  Please follow all steps below in order to receive credit for this course.

     Step 2 Take the test
     Step 3 Complete the "Registration Page"
This page is accessible only after you take the test in Step 2
     Step 4 Confirm registration
You have successfully completed the training if
you end up at the "Registration Complete" webpage
     Step 5 Signup to view your training records
Please allow 1-2 business days for your Transcript
to be updated after completing the training
     Step 6 Ask questions
Interact with the Biosafety Officer. Feel free to submit
your questions via email, and you should receive an
answer within 24 hours.
