Overview of how to respond to a modified positive alarm sequence (MPAS). Topics include: fire sprinklers, heat sensors, manual pull stations, smoke detectors, and supervisory alarms involving AEDs and fire sprinkler valves.

Instructions for accessing the course:

  1. Go to the URL http://ucrlearning.ucr.edu  
  2. Login using your UCR NetID and password

    The system could not locate my account.

    Are you a student or non-employee?
    Activate your UCR NetID.

  3. Enter the word "alarm" into the Search box.
  4. Click on the "Alarm Response" title, and click "Register" button, 
  5. In the next screen, Click on the "Alarm Response" box and click on the "Next" button.  in the next screen, click the "Submit" button to complete your registration.
  6. When you're ready to begin the course, click on "Start" next to the eCourse listing. You can pick up where you left off at anytime and find the course in your Learner Dashboard.
