Overview of information mandated by OSHA 29 CFR 1910.1025 and review of the hazards associated with lead exposure and requirements to reduce or eliminate exposure both in general industry and in the construction industry. The content in this course is designed to comply with the intent of the applicable regulatory requirements. Topics include: sources of lead exposure; adverse health effects associated with lead exposure;  the purpose and elements of the medical surveillance program and the medical removal protection program; specific controls and work practices to reduce lead exposures.
