Overview of how to control of hazardous energy and work under the protection of a lockout/tagout permit, a review of lockout/tagout practices, and the significance of lockout/tagout devices. The content in this course is designed to comply with the intent of the applicable regulatory requirements. Topics include:  terms commonly used in a lockout/tagout program; specific lockout/tagout techniques commonly used in a lockout/tagout program; standard lockout/tagout procedures.

  1. Go to the URL http://ucrlearning.ucr.edu
  2. Login using your UCR NetID and password

Activate your UCR NetID.

  1. Enter the word "lockout" into the Search box (on the left side), and click on "Go"
  2. Click on the "Lockout / Tagout" title, and select "Register
  3. Verify that the box is checked next to eCourse, and click on "Submit"

When you're ready to begin the course, click on "Start" next to the eCourse listing. You can pick up where you left off at anytime.
