AUTOMATED EXTERNAL DEFIBRILLATOR (AED) AND
STOP THE BLEED PROGRAMS NOTIFICATION 2025
UC Riverside is committed to enhancing life-saving emergency preparedness across campus. This announcement provides critical information about the availability of Automated External Defibrillators (AEDs) and the launch of the new Stop the Bleed program to empower our campus community in responding to serious medical emergencies.
AED AVAILABILITY AND TRAINING
Although the operation of AEDs does not require specialized training, the campus strongly encourages everyone to participate in AED and CPR training. Training opportunities are available through the
following:
1. American Red Cross
2. American Heart Association
3. UCR Student Recreation Center
